On behalf of our entire team, please allow us to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyal and continuing support of our EPG membership program.
In our continuing effort to streamline the membership benefits, we hereby notify that effective from January 01, 2017, the membership program’s Terms & Condition will be revised, as follows:
1. EXPIRY PERIOD FOR MEMBERSHIP POINTS
Please be advised that all memberships’ points accumulated must be utilized within12 months. As our valued EPG members, please be advised that your points previously accumulated have to be utilized by 31 Dec 2017. We strongly encourage you to utilize all your points’ on-hand before the stipulated date. Otherwise, these points will be deemed expired and not redeemable after the due date. Henceforth, new points accumulated with effect from 01 January 2017 must be utilized within 12 months. These points will not be valid or redeemable after their expiry date.
2. MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION LEVEL
(1) Effective from January 01, 2017, the Eton Hotel Shanghai will review all memberships’ level of qualification based on actual room nights stay achieved in 2016. If the room nights or time of stays did not reach the required level; the membership level will be automatically downgraded. As a reminder, PLATINUM Membership is awarded upon achieving 10 times efficacious stay or 25 room nights within a calendar year and DIAMOND Membership is awarded upon achieving 25 times efficacious stay or 50 room nights within a calendar year.
(2) Effective from January 01, 2017, Membership level award based on room nights will no longer apply. A new criterion for the membership level award will be defined as follows: PLATINUM Membership will be awarded upon achieving CNY 20,000 as the total rooms revenue accumulated (inclusive of service charge) within a calendar year and DIAMOND Membership will be awarded upon CNY 40,000 as the total rooms revenue accumulated (inclusive of service charge) within a calendar year.. If the rooms’ revenue accumulated does not reach the required level; the membership level will be automatically downgraded as pointed out in point 2a.
3. REDEMPTION OF COMPLIMENTARY EPG COUPONS
(1) Members utilizing complimentary EPG coupons to stay with us will not earn any points. However, during the stay, F&B expenses recorded as in-house spending will earn points.
(2) Members using CNY 100 or CNY 500 coupons to rebate part of the Room or F&B revenue can only earn points on the balance revenue recorded.
